Artist Shared Interest Group (SIG)

The Artist SIG is an awesome way to meet new people, share a common interest, learn from others, and just have fun. This SIG is open to any form of artistic expression that is generally suitable for an indoor classroom setting. If the group desires, we can also schedule activities off site such as visiting museums, plein air sessions, etc. Typically this SIG meet once per month for 2.5 to 3 hours in the OLLI Community Room. Each artist is responsible for bringing their own supplies, determining their own projects, and cleaning up afterwards.

Our goals include:

• Create an encouraging, constructive, and safe environment for artistic expression
• Create a welcoming environment for new artists
• Provide incentive to keep creating
• Build friendships based on common interests
• Provide a community to continue your artistic pursuits beyond the classroom

SIG meeting times/dates for Spring 2024 include:  9am-noon on Feb. 21, March 18, April 15, and May 7.  

Please Note:  SIGs are member/volunteer led. SIG fees are inclusive of the entire term and non-refundable.

• A current OLLI membership is required to register for all courses, lectures and SIGs. 
• If you do not have a Spring 2024 membership, one will be added to your cart at checkout. 
• OLLI membership fees and course tuition are critical to the Institute's sustainability and are non-refundable.
