OLLI Talks: Living with Wildfire: Working Together for Resilient Communities and Landscapes (HYBRID)
OSHR 3353Wildfire is an inevitable part of life in the West—but how we prepare and respond can make all the difference. This session explores practical steps homeowners can take to reduce risk through home hardening, defensible space, and thoughtful landscaping. These practices reflect a broader perspective of wildfire mitigation—caring for our homes and communities as part of a larger, interconnected landscape. Participants will learn how individual choices contribute to community safety and ecological resilience, helping both people and places adapt to changing landscapes.
