OLLI Talks: Introduction to the Geology of Crude Oil and Natural Gas (HYBRID)

Participants will be introduced to the geological processes and the physical and chemical characteristics of rock formations and organic materials that result in the creation of economic deposits of crude oil and natural gas.

Harry Mueller has a PhD in geology and spent 33 years working in the oil and gas industry, mainly in the Middle East. He taught aspects of oil and gas exploration and production and characteristics of limestone and dolomite reservoir rocks to other oil company geologists in several countries.
