OLLI Experience: Who You Are Matters! Conversation Experience (Boardgame) (DRAKE HALL)

Experience seven structured and engaging conversations with three to five peers, focused on personal qualities, strengths, interests, and future possibilities. This conversation-based experience, presented as a board game, helps participants get to know one another through deep listening, being heard (without advice), and shared moments of empathy and laughter. Using a talking stick, participants share brief stories, receive affirmative feedback, and create a Clarification Statement about future possibilities. Used in 19 countries and by more than 1,000 organizations, this approach has been shown to support curiosity, exploration, hope, self-efficacy, resilience, optimism, and organized thinking. Many find it to be an engaging introduction to the OLLI community and the Finish Well Beyond 50 Framework. The experience is led by the program's co-creator.
