OLLI Talks: From Ship to Shore: Broadening Your Horizon through Travel

Semester at Sea is paving the way in global education by offering students and adults the opportunity to travel the world. Every semester, approximately 600 students, faculty, staff, and lifelong learners sail around the world on a ship to 10-12 countries. Since 1963, more than 68,000 individuals from 1,700 institutions have traveled to more than 60 countries with Semester at Sea and its predecessor programs. In this panel discussion, you’ll hear from four seasoned travelers as they reflect on their experiences sailing around the world on a Semester at Sea voyage.

Audra serves as Vice President for Advancement at Semester at Sea and previously worked at CSU for over ten years. Audra has a passion for travel and learning and has visited 11 countries from Thailand and Vietnam to Costa Rica and Peru. As a mother of five, active volunteer, and global traveler, she was named one of Northern Colorado's 40 Under Forty in 2016.
